It’s always so fun to go back to Barcelona! I can’t believe it’s been 4 years since my last visit… we get so wrapped up in life and responsibilities that before we know it, things have fallen by the wayside. It’s a good thing to remind myself because I certainly don’t want it to be another 4 years ๐ Luckily this time my ESADE reunion prompted me to find a few days in early September to walk around this beautiful city again.
The typical Barrio Gรณtico streets.

Where to today?

Not sure if you can see this, but someone put $ stickers on his eyes which I find to be quite a nice little allegory ๐

It gets crowded at Placa Espanya in the evening.

Colors!

One of my favorite streets in the city. I used to live not too far from here so I’d find myself walking up it often. This a great photo my brother took with an old school Zenit back in the day right on it.. yep, he’s a better photographer than I am ๐

Because why not drink at the church steps? ๐

Craftiness.

Los bomberos!

Caught in a moment in the little tucked away placas of Barca.

Favorite photo, love this little back garden in Grร cia.

Touristy moments.

One of my favorite views of town… Sagrada Familia from the top of Park Gรผell around sundown.

The fountain show is nowadays mostly viewed through the back of a smartphone.

Best tapas in town!

Hot day in September means everyone is going to the beach, metro was packed ๐

Family run businesses are my favorite. These mom and daughter were so alike.

Clever.

A bit drastic that one, but a nice decoration job nevertheless ๐

Now I just need to find time to go more often ๐
Reblogged this on msamba.
This is the obvious answer why Barcelona is such popular place to visit! Thanks for sharing your impressions. ๐
And thanks for stopping by ๐
That does look like a nice tapas place. Do you know the address? I might pop in there some time.
The place is called Quimet & Quimet and is on Carrer del Poeta Cabanyes 25. Enjoy! Do you live in Barcelona?
I do indeed! I’ve never actually managed to get inside Quimet i Quimet because it’s so small. Must try harder…
Yeah, I know the feeling. We went the moment it opened and there were still 10 people there already. But very worth it ๐
Surely i enjoyed every picture u taken and story behind it.
Love the photos! Makes me miss it – what an incredible place
