I’d forgotten how incredible this city is, truly. It’s been a few years since I’ve been back and yet I found it to be just as exciting, vibrant and colorful as I remembered it. Not sure I’d ever want to live here, but for the occasional trip and catch up with friends, it’s as good as it gets π
Just hanging out.
The Flatiron building seen from Madison Square park.
Not a bad skyline.
$3, really?
I just love this view whenever I’m around Midtown.
Call me maybe?
Signs.
I love how with some determination, they turned Broadway into a pedestrian zone. More cities should learn from this.
Different vantage point.
Yellow it is.
Mirroring.
Free park entertainment.
Morning rush.
Reflections.
Hodgepodge of people.
Overwhelming heat under ground.
Lunch time.
Looking up.
Dig in, fella.
Contrasts.
Tanning.
Obama was in town so they shut down a couple of blocks… typical.
“But at night it’s a different world.”
Soho dinner.
Stealing a moment.
Cool restaurant scene.
The city is rough
East Village.
Good.
Andy Raps.
Great shot! Love it!
Thanks! There’s like 30 in this post so I’m not sure which one you’re referring to, but appreciated nonetheless π
Oh well, seems like I forgot an “s”. I really do like all of them, but the one that stands out is βBut at night itβs a different world.β

New York City has never been somewhere I was desperate to visit, but the more and more I read and see pictures, the more I think it’s worth the trip. I love your shots and think you have captured the atmosphere of the city beautifully.
Why, thank you! As any city, NYC has its faults, but it is most definitely worth experiencing.
