a tribute to discomfort

 
If you’ve ever wondered why some of us photo enthusiasts wait around for hours, pull of crazy stunts and go to the extreme to take a single shot, I think this video will sum it up quite nicely. Although I haven’t pushed myself nearly as much as this guy (the closest I’ve gotten was probably the shot at the top of Kilimanjaro or my lone night walk for the misty Sofia post) considering it’s still a hobby/passion, I relate to everything he’s saying and admire his resolve and spirit. And you can feel it, the effort that goes into making this one incredible photo translates into an amazing, story-telling image that just speaks to you and is worth it every time.

Maybe I need to quite my job and just do this…
