Here’s how the logic worked for this: I love this shot of a back alley in a remote Berber village in Morocco, but I just couldn’t find the right tune to put it up with. Then came the Casablanca song, which (albeit being very different from my usual posts) somehow has been stuck in my head for the past few days. So I figured although not from the infamous city, the image was taken close enough…ish.
Also Casablanca supposedly is, among other things, a city of romance (as depicted by the 1942 movie with the same name) and it seemed appropriate to include it on this specific date when God knows why humanity is going crazy over celebrating love, like you can’t do it in the other 364 days of the year 😉

Excellent capture!
Thanks, Kurt! There’s so much to explore and photograph in Morocco, I’m definitely going back.. hopefully sooner rather than later 😉
